Sister of one of the kidnapped girls in Takoradi,Nana Adwoa Quayson has blamed the Police hierarchy in the Western Region for their inability to identify her sister Ruth Love Quayson, who was kidnapped months ago.

Ruth Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie were reported kidnapped between August 2018 and January 2019.

The main suspect in the kidnapping case, Sam Udoetuk Wills, is currently before a court after he escaped jail in December 2018 following his first arrest.

Friends and family of the young ladies have held protests to push for their rescue and have petitioned the President and the Sekondi Regional Coordinating Council for same.

But sister of Ruth Love Quayson,Nana Adwoa Quayson revealed the Police CID in the Western Region conspired with the suspect Sam Udoetuk Wills to escape from Police Custody the first time he was  arrested.

“The Police hierarchy didn’t help us when our sister was kidnapped, they played a lackadaisical attitude in trying to  arrest the culprits and later they were very rude towards our family when we wanted to know how far with the issue concerning our sister,”,Nana Adwoa Quayson one of the sisters of the kidnapped victims exclusively told Kwame Tutu on  Anopa Nkomo on Kingdom FM 107.7 in Accra.

“We believed a Police CID called Ametepe and the then Police Regional Commander,Ofori Donkor connived with  Sam Udoetuk Wills the suspect to break jail after his first arrest.”

“The two Police Officers have left  the Western Region since the issue came up in which we don’t know their where about till now.”
